Despite Do-Not-Call, one can get a lot 
of unwanted phone calls. 

Questionable charities calling to raise money, 
political calls during election cycles, wrong 
number callers looking for a similiar number. 
 
Now it seems that one can get repeated  
collection phone calls for persons who apparently 
have no connection to one's phone number or address!

They call repeatedly expecting to talk to their 
debtors using just any phone number, 
regardless as to  whom it is listed!
 

In the case of one annoying collection agency, 
I reported the problem to my state attorney 
general who wrote and warned the company to desist,
telling them that the debtors they were seeking, 
did not live at my address, and to stop calling 
my number which the debtors never owned!

When I first moved to my present address, I was 
receiving mail for numerous different persons, 
most of whom the management did not recall 
ever living at this address!

So, I guess that one can get phone calls for 
people the same way, for persons never 
having had any connection to the number 
or the address!
